Karaoke Contest at Dublin's Cellar

Dublin's Cellar is hosting a Karaoke contest on Wednesday nights starting April 1. Cash prizes nightly. The contest will last 8 weeks. Of course the Karaoke will be provided by Muffioky. For more information, check out www.muffyrocks.com

Hi everybody
I have the details for the upcoming karaoke contest at Dublin's Cellar.
It starts Wed, April 8. The contest is at 9 pm each Wed. (I still start at 7)
You must sign up between 8 and 9, first come basis. Professional vocalists are not eligible.
It runs 8 weeks, with finals on the 9th week (June 3). Min/Max contestants: 5/20.
The prizes are as follows-
Weekly: First place $50 Second Place $25
Finals: First Place $750 Second Place $500 Third Place $250
If you win weekly first or second place, you will be entered in the finals.
Once you have placed first or second, you cannot re-enter.
We'll have 3 judges - 2 regulars, one rotating. This may vary, but the judges I pick will be presumed
unbiased and have a suitable background. Did I mention I totally hate competitive singing, LOL?
I'll be typing up guidelines and putting em on my website, prob'ly on Saturday.

Food! Dublin's has hired a kitchen staff and the developing menu includes burgers, fries, quesadillas, pizza and more.
