Dr. Tag for songbook management

Post  kelboswell on Tue Apr 21, 2009 3:34 pm

Anyone hosting using mp3+g format files really needs to try Dr. Tag. This is absolutely the BEST piece of software I've found for creating and managing filenames, id3tags, and songbooks. Funny how there is no mention of it supporting .cdg files, but it does. If you rename an mp3 file, the corresponding cdg gets renamed, too! It has a super-easy export to HTML function that will output a file that you can drop directly onto a webserver, if you want people to be able to browse your songbooks online. I've been using it since 2003 without a hitch. It's well worth the money! I have found that when printing songbooks, use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer screws up the grids, but Firefox works great!
