Gaslight Festival Karaoke Contest

Hello everyone:

The Thoroughbred Chorus is pleased to once again sponsor the third annual Gaslight Festival Karaoke Contest, with a $1,000.00 grand prize for 1st place in the adults division. This years contest will be bigger and better than ever before! Twenty Five different events will be held at a variety of venues across Jeffersontown, KY over seventeen consecutive days, making this contest one of the biggest of it's kind anywhere. Adult contestants will have the opportunity to visit as many as ten different venues over the course of the contest. The Kids & Teens Qualifying rounds will once again be held at three different locations on two weekends in September.

The contest kicks off on September 2nd at the Gaslight Tavern. This year's Finals will be held on the Saturday of Gaslight weekend (September 19th), at the Passtime’s Fish House Entertainment Tent, which will be located once again at the site of the old Ferd Grisanti’s Restaurant at 10212 Taylorsville Rd. The contest moves to a different karaoke bar or restaurant each day of the week.
